1. Kiren Jones. He, and his dad, went to Harlow Town.
2. Frankie Compton
3. Chris Tomlinson. Funny story about Chris - he moved to the area with his job and turned up looking for a trial. He was a defender, and when he got into the team he played left side in a back 3 or left back, clearly being left footed. I noticed that all of a sudden, he stopped using his left foot and became a normal right footer. I asked him about it one day, asking if he had injured his left foot. "No", he said, "when I came looking for agame, Brian (Owen) said he was short of left footed defenders, so I told him that's what I was!"

4. Melvyn Thompson. Now with Haringey Borough, via St Margaretsbury.

5. Nicky Turner. He came on at Yaxley when we looked like going out of the Vase, played out of position in midfield, and came up with the winner. The following season he was playing for Edgware, and in a near title decider, he scored their equaliser against us right at the end!

6. John Sapsford. He came to us from Waltham Forest, having been their top scorer. His boots were more impressive than his football!

7. Darren Wiltshire. Excellant left back who lived just too far away.

8. Danny Fitzpatrick! Great crowd pleaser, if not referee pleaser!

9. Andy Denney - played right back in the Div 1 season.

10. Joel scored his only Hertford Town goal at home against Leyton Pennant in the last game of season 2002-3, but it wasn't enough to save us from relegation!
