BUTTS SIGNS ON
Centre forward Dave Butler, missing for Saturday's opener as he pondered offers from both the Blues and Edgware, finally chose Hertford Town tonight (Tuesday 17th) and is likely to start on Saturday at Ilford.

Apart from the two from Ware - Billy Wingrove and Dave Greenwood, other new signings this season include Matt Seldon, formerly of Crawley Town, Dean Wordsworth, ex Crawley, Crystal Palace, Ayr United, Stevenage Borough and Windsor & Eton; and Gary Smith, who was formerly on Dagenham & Redbridge's books.
