RAY HILL IN SHOCK RESIGNATION

Chairman Ray Hill has stunned the Club by resigning with immediate effect. In an official statement to www.hertfordtownfc.co.uk, he said:

"It is with a sad heart that I have to announce my resignation as chairman of Hertford Town Football Club with immediate effect. I would like to point out that my decision has nothing to do with the performance of the players and management of the Club.
My reasons will become apparent over the next few days.
I wish all at the Club the best of luck for the rest of the season and in the future."
