ROBBIE BURNS
Before my time again, and nominated by supporter David Nott (who kindly supplied the photos). Robbie,left back and captain during the fifties and sixties made over 500 hundred appearances for the Blues, and it is believed over 320 appearances were made consecutively !
We would be pleased to hear from anyone who can add to the information about this particular Hertford Hero.
I think that the photos are a wonderful reminder of what local soccer was like in the 60's - look at the plain kit worn by the players, and look at the crowd! Anyone you know in the pics?
