Club Captain. Spent most of season 2004/5 recovering from a double fracture of the leg, but figured in the first team towards the end of that season. Joel completed his 100th game for the Blues during the early part of 2005-6 before sustaining a second serious injury, which greatly restricted his first team appearances. Back to fitness now and looking to gain his place back in the first team.
